Material Control Administratorrequired to join a luxury automotive brand based in Daventry on a permanent basis paying a salary of up to£30,000 per annum plus benefits.

We are looking for a Material Control Administratorwho will be responsible managing the flow and inventory of materials necessary for production. The Material Control Administrator responsibilities revolve around ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time and in the right quantities to support manufacturing operations. As a Materials Control Administrator, you will be supporting the Materials controllers with administrative duties like documentation and reporting as well as some key aspects of their role including Inventory Management, Supply chain Coordination, Cost management, forecasting, and planning.

Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential, and in return the successful Material Control Administrator will join an inclusive and supportive team with a great attitude and family culture within a modern bright and airy facility. The Material Control Administrator will receive a salary in the region of up to £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience) as well as great development opportunities within Supply chain, in one of the most prestigious automotive companies around!

The duties and responsibilities of the Material Control Administrator:

  • Ensure Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) is accurate and up to date and resolve issues as required.
  • Manage stock levels, assessing and monitoring the volume requirements against planning assumptions and agreed targets.
  • Interpret the master schedule to create material demand and plan material supply.
  • Day-to-day order management and overall management of deliveries.
  • Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials and manage inventory accuracy.
  • Developing good relationships with suppliers to ensure demand for materials is made and deliveries made on time.
  • Help with the general administrative tasks for the wider team supporting the Buyers.

The ideal Material Control Administratorwill have experience in:

  • Experience within a manufacturing industry would be highly desired preferably within automotive manufacturing.
  • Previous experience or exposure within an administrative role or similar is essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar is highly desired.
  • Possess strong attention to detail along with a high level of computer literacy and competence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a can-do attitude.
  • Driven individual looking for career progression.


Hours:
Day Shift: Monday Friday: 8.00am 17.00pm

Pay: up to£30,000 per annum + Benefits
