SalaryAdecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a Material Handler for their client based in Cramlington. This will be working day shift only Monday - Friday with a pay rate of £12 per hour, on a temporary to permanent basis.
Job Description:
As a Material Handler you will play a crucial role in the efficient and smooth flow of materials within our client's facility. You will be responsible for handling, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack materials for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, and participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Communication: Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of material flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
