Description
- Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Optimise sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Profile
A successful Materials Buyer should have:
- Proven experience within Purchasing
- Strong communication skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholder
- An understanding of supply chain procedures
- Driven with the ability to multi-task and make sound judgements
Job Offer
- A competitive salary package, ranging between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum
