Our client, a forward-thinking business in Taunton are seeking a Bookkeeper/ Finance Manager with experience in cloud accounting systems to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA/ or AAT Qualified with accountancy practice experience and a good working knowledge of accountancy cloud software including Xero and QuickBooks.
You will be working with a varied client base from a range of sectors, managing day to day bookkeeping tasks using cloud based accounting software, training and coaching junior members of the team.

Main Duties
The main duties (but not limited to) are the following: -
• Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services.
• A good understanding of accounting principles
• Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date.
• Proficient in the use of cloud-based accounting software
• Providing support and coaching for staff and clients
• General admin duties to provide support to the team.
The successful candidate:
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes, skills, experience and
qualifications.
• Proven Bookkeeping experience
• Experience within a practice
• ACCA/ ACA or AAT qualification or qualified by experience
• Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting software
• Experience of delivering exceptional customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new IT skills quickly
