Role Purpose
Responsible for Billing and Collections for the VBSE portfolio of customers, ensuring first time billing accuracy per customer contracts in order to maximise cash collected in line with payment terms, while developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers
What you'll do
- Ensuring invoices go out on time per contractual agreements with customers in order to minimise unbilled revenue accrual.
- Ensuring that invoices are received by relevant customer stakeholders and charges covered by POs to facilitate payment timescales. Resolving any queries in an efficient and effective manner working in collaboration with other teams.
- Providing high levels of customer service through regular telephone and email contact with external customers.
- Forecasting of monthly collections from customers in order to ensure achievement of monthly debt reduction and cash collection targets, escalating internally where required.
- Maintaining customer records in systems, e.g. allocation of receipts.
- Ad hoc support for other finance tasks as required
Who you are
- Previous experience in Billing or credit control, corporate Gemini/Garisma/Crystal
- Experience of using multiple systems
- Good knowledge of systems and ability to use Microsoft Excel up to Intermediate/Advanced level, Word and email (outlook)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain Customer Confidentiality and hold Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
