Job description


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to join the maternity bleep holder team based at the North Manchester site. Working a combination of day and nights shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, you will learn to coordinate both the midwives and the MDT whilst ensuring effective and safe patient flow and a quality maternity service adhering to local and national guidelines.
You will be resilient and able to manage complex situations as well as being well organised and innovative. A proven track record of supporting change processes, coupled with good influencing and negotiation skills are key attributes required for this post in order to provide an integrated and effective service focusing on the delivery and assurance of safe, high quality patient care across our services.
The post holder has a key leadership and management role at a senior level and will provide specialist skills and knowledge to support the organisation and the delivery of care for patients within the directorate. The bleep holder will be an advocate for women and their families in accordance with the philosophy and standards of care within the area, ensuring that Trust values and beliefs are upheld. The bleep holder has a fundamental role in the delivery of high standards of midwifery care, ensuring an environment that is conducive to well-being
