In the heart of Abingdon, Oxfordshire, a 11-18 Secondary School is on the hunt for a Maths Teacher to join them ASAP and teach up to GCSE. This is a long-term supply contract through to July 2024.
The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Maths Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Maths Department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects. The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maths Teacher - KS3/KS4
- Inspiring and motivating the younger generation.
- Working alongside a team of fantastic Maths Teachers
- ASAP Start - Long Term Supply contract to July 2024
- MPS1-UPS3 - £153-£238 per day.
- Located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- QTS/QTLS or experienced Unqualified Teacher with at least 6 months teaching experience.
- Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Maths Teachers
- Must be willing to listen to feedback.
