*Role and Responsibilities:*
* *Teaching:* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
* *Curriculum Development:* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students and align with the national curriculum.
* *Student Assessment:* Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.
* *Classroom Management:* Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, promoting a culture of respect, enthusiasm, and academic rigor.
* *Collaboration:* Work closely with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths department.
* *Pastoral Care:* Support the overall well-being of students, providing guidance and encouragement to help them navigate their academic journey.
*Qualifications and Experience:*
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
* Proven experience teaching Maths at GCSE level is preferred.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration.
