Axcis Education is partnering with a large mainstream secondary school in Rochdale to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join a supportive school community.
About the Role:
- Position: Maths Teacher
- Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3 (KS3) & Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Contract: Supply for 26 weeks, transitioning to a permanent contract pending a successful supply period.
- Support for ECTs: Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply. The school is committed to supporting you through your induction year.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths
- Experience: Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students is preferred but not essential.
- DBS Check: Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Skills: Strong classroom management skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and inspire students.
