Address Position: Full-Time Maths Teacher – Temp to perm Location: Birkenhead Salary: Depending on experience About the Role: Axcis are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic team in an alternative provision in Bikenhead. This is a full-time, long-term position, perfect for an individual who is looking for a consistent role. The AP caters mainly to children with SEMH but also additional needs. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to groups of around 6 pupils. • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics. • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development and achievement. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject. • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level. • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • DBS on the update service or willing to apply INDLIV
