Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Temporary to Permanent)

Location: Tameside

Company Overview: Our client, who are a major Facilities Management and dynamic and forward thinking company are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their operations on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while executing maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and industrial equipment.
• Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship in engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
