Mechanic / MOT Tester Job in Cranleigh

Vehicle Technician & MOT Testers Required for Family Run Automotive Garage Business in the Cranleigh area 
Hours: 47.5 Hours per week Monday - Saturday with a day off in the week (5 days per week) 
Pay: Up to £36,000 on a full time permanent basis DOE 
 We are currently working with a well-respected Motor Trade Business who have been operating in their local area for over 50 years and counting! They are seeking a career focused Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester to join their busy Motor Trade all makes and models Service Centre Workshop department operating from Cranleigh. This is an exciting opportunity for a Technician or MOT Tester to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day. They reward highly and put employees at the forefront of all they do. 
Within this Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester role your typical duties will include: 

• Undertake repairs and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer technical standards.
• Mechanical and Electrical diagnostics and customers cars 
• Be able to undertake servicing and mechanical repairs; suspension, clutches, timing belts / chains etc 
• Offer technical advice and support to service staff and apprentices in the workshop
• Work with the wider workshop team to improve quality 
• If applying for the MOT Tester opportunity; have an active MOT Smart card and be able to perform MOT's in line with VOSA and Government standards
