Mechanical Assembler/Fitter Leicester Permanent

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Assembler/Fitter to work on behalf of one of our clients based within Leicester.

Salary GBP24,000/annum DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
• Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer s instructions; reporting malfunctions

About you:

• Ability to retain information with regard to standard assembly/disassembly procedures
• A strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read an inch tape measure
