My client is a well established business working with niche products in a niche industry are looking to expand following a recent acquisition. The manufacturing facilities are based within commutable distance from Leicester, Nuneaton, Atherstone, Coventry. Market Bosworth They are currently looking for a Skilled/Semi Skilled Mechanical Assembler to work both in their workshop and on site.
The Role - Mechanical Assembler:
- Removing Industrial Units and either refurbish onsite or return to the workshop
- Strip down clean and re-assemble components to the unit ready for re-installation
- Using hand tools and machine tools in a safe manner
- Use hoists, and other lifting equipment as required (Training given)
- Testing units following re-assembly to ensure they are fit for purpose
- Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Mechanical Assembler:
- Due to the Niche nature of our products training will be given, but we are looking for
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler in an industrial environment
- If possible have completed an apprenticeship C&G / NVQ 3 (not essential)
- Able to use hand and power tools
- Ideally have some machining and/or welding experience (training offered)
- FLT driving experience is ideally
The Package - Mechanical Assembler:
- Starting rate of between 13.50 to £14.50 per hour
- Overtime available
- Free onsite parking
- 30 Days Holiday
