The Role

Our clients are currently recruiting for the following opportunities to join their Machine Shop based at their site in Poole.

Ideally candidates will have experience on these machines, however training will be given to the right applicants. 

• CNC Miller on a XYZ SMX4000 and manual
• CNC Turner XYZ Protrack
• CNC Turner Mazak Quickturn

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operate machinery independently.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and tolerancing.
• Establish efficient manufacturing processes prior programming stage.
• Select suitable cutting tools.
• Produce high quality work in a small batch environment within drawing specification.
• Work within an ISO9001 framework
• Liaise with Production Supervisor and Quality Control
• Able to work individually as well as part of a team

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in final assembly and testing of all products in accordance with relevant technical documentation.
• Work within an ISO9001 framework
• Liaise with Production Supervisor and Quality Control
• Able to work individually as well as part of a team
