Our client, a market leading design and manufacturer of GRP formwork for civil structures, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Design Engineer. With continued high levels of research and development, the company is consistently at the forefront of new technology and its equipment is highly regarded within the industry. You will be involved in the full design process of new projects and instrumental in all aspects of new product development. Working on a variety of exciting new design assignments this role offers an unrivalled chance for product variation and new technology design. Role & Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design, assembly and fitting
- You will produce and check mechanical drawings.
- Working with electrical design and software engineers you will ensure the Mechanical Design meets the necessary customer needs.
- 2D/3D AutoCAD
Required Skills & Experience:
- Qualification in structural or Mechanical Design Engineering
- Experience as a composite engineer would be preferred
