You will be responsible for the whole Mechanical Design lifecycle for various schemes for Building Services.
About the Role
- Take ownership for the design and delivery of Building Services projects for energy efficiency projects for both public and private sector clients.
- Produce design specifications, performance specifications, equipment schedules, and technical submissions.
About You:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) and ideally a Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartership.
- Experience in a design consultancy role designing mechanical services, ideally for new build, refurbishment, lifecycle replacement or similar.
- The design of mechanical services design should include (some of) the following:
- Site surveys and investigations
- Low temperature hot water heating systems
- Domestic hot and cold water services
- Mechanical and natural ventilation
- Refrigerant and chilled water cooling systems
- Low and zero carbon technologies
- Above ground drainage
- Experience producing technical design drawings using AutoCAD .
