My client is an established global manufacturer of HVAC plant room installations supplying throughout EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees' contributions.

We invite applications from experienced and senior designers with a background in; building services / M&E ideally, including REVIT Technicians from either an M&E Contractor or Building Services Consultancy background. Alternatively Mechanical Design Engineer experience within industrial process engineering or oil & gas / petro-chem industry.
The Role
- You will be a valued addition to the existing team of 8 Mechanical Design Engineers
- Production of Solidworks 3D models from initial conceptual designs of plant room installations - pipework, equipment arrangement, fabrications, structural steelwork
- Preparation of 2D Auto CAD and 3D drawings
- Preparation of detailed fabrication sketches, BOM, weight calculations and production information
- Adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 quality management systems
- Support for tender drawings
Hours: 38 hours, flexible working between 0930-1530
You
- An experienced Solidworks Mechanical Design Engineer, Designer, Draughtsman, AutoCAD Technician, REVIT Technician
- Likely to have worked in an M&E Contractor or Building Services Consultancy
- Knowledge of mechanical commercial building services a distinct advantage
