The Opportunity:
- Work in a multidisciplinary team engaging across many areas of missile design over research and mainstream project work
- Lead mechanical development for assigned projects, sub-systems or components
- Work on the first stages of development of projects
- Shape project direction and create prototype designs
- Propose ideas for future research topics, obtaining funding to develop these ideas within the function
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Design, including an appreciation of electronic considerations
- Ability to develop concept design solutions with limited information and changing requirements
- Awareness of other disciplines ie structural design
- Relevant 3D CAD/CAE experience
- Eligibility for DV level of clearance
