Role - Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary - up to £45,000

Location - Middlesbrough (Hybrid working)

Torque Consulting is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a manufacturing/engineering company based in Middlesbrough. The company are growing and have clients across the world.

The position will be responsible for designing and developing innovative machine designs for our smart cartridge valve. This includes utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) (Solidworks) software and applying principles of mechanical engineering and product design. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions and research + development into new prodcuts.

Qualifications

• Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Mechanical Engineering skills
• Experience in product design and development
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in the pipeline industry or related fields is a plus
• Experience using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor etc.
