Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you a talented Design Engineer with experience working with Conveyors, Material Processing Plants or Quarry machinery?

VANRATH are recruiting aMechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s technical department designing and commissioning equipment for production operations around the world.

Remuneration
£40,000 to £45,000 Salary DOE

Beyond an initial training period, our client are open to discuss opportunities for ‘work from home’ days.

Client
Our client hold a prominent seat in a larger, global organisation with a worldwide customer base in the Agricultural and Food Production industries.

Due to huge growth plans, they are currently in the process of expanding upon their original facility in Magherafelt and will use this new location as a template to replicate similar facilities in other countries around the world.

Main Responsibilities

• 3D design and modelling in Autodesk Inventor
• Autodesk Vault: System setup, and maintenance
• Creation of 2D drawings for manufacture
• Machine design from individual parts to complete systems
• Compilation of parts lists and documentation for CE marking
• Implementing new process technologies and automation to increase OEE´s
• Optimization/support for production sites
• Liaising with external suppliers

The Ideal Person:

• Minimum 4 years Design Experience
• Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or Solidworks
• Experience working with Conveyor Systems
