Job Description: CHEMICAL / WATER TREATMENT PROJECT ENGINEER
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Package: £38,000 P/A, 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), Company pension scheme
Working Hours: 8:30 – 17:00 (37 ½ hrs) + overtime

We are currently enjoying continuous growth and are looking to recruit an experienced mechanical, electrical or process engineer with proven design experience working in a multi[1]-disciplined project engineering company.
Job Purpose:
Working in our Projects Team, you will be responsible for designing and managing concurrent projects for gas and liquid chemical dosing systems for use within the Water industry.
Job Accountabilities:
- Co-ordinating with other team members.
- Customer focus, balancing the demands and building relationships with multiple clients.
- Adhere to all relevant Health and Safety processes, procedures, RAMS and guidelines.
- Ability to think and operate independently but seek support from colleagues and line managers as
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ideally experience in the design of water or waste-water chemical dosing systems from the feasibility
- stage through to detailed design including development of piping and instrumentation diagrams, control philosophies, associated schedules and detailed process calculations.
- Proven ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary design team, liaising directly with Clients and other project team members.
- Generation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS).
- Adaptable and willing to working within a collaborative team environment.
- This role will include site visits where you will carry out site surveys and support liaisons with clients, contractors and suppliers. You will be tasked with delivering to agreed budget, programme and quality.
- Computer literate – proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with customers at all levels.
- Able to interact and operate at all levels of the business
