The Opportunity
Due to continuous expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to work within a collaborative team of nuclear specialists, to implement key engineering design solutions to all major projects.
The Role
As a Mechanical HVAC Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering solutions to design for manufacture the full project lifecycle.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Developing and implementing engineering solutions through to design for manufacture, the full project life cycle.
- Producing technical drawings and models: HVAC component models, piping isometrics, Mechanical & Electrical Plant (MEP) component models, MEP installation drawings, MEP content or family creation.
- BIM modelling for HVAC, MEP, plumbing & pipework.
- Recording quantities take off and scheduling.
- Delivering your scope of work to time and budget.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Experienced user of Revit and AutoCAD software
- Good communication skills, and able to interface with external and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity of Aveva products (E3D).
- Familiarity with CIBSE guides.
It s great if you also have the following
- Experience of highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
