A well established Company based in Alcester have an excellent opportunity for a multi skilled technician with a mechanical bias

Job Role of a Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance of manufacturing plant & machinery.
Review and update maintenance tasks.
You’ll get involved with the provision and co-ordination of engineering project support and the maintenance of assembly/process machinery, plus general site facilities such as heating and lighting.
You’ll Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, making sure the working environment is of an equally high standard and that we adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments).
Raising issues where necessary to minimize cost and quality exposures.
You will perform work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.
Along with being IT literate you’ll have excellent communication skills, be a team player with the ability to present ideas and proposals clearly to others.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally you should be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Ideally you would be able to demonstrate some experience/ability to inspect, diagnose, test, repair and maintain a range of different mobile plant products & vehicles.
You should also be able to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities and a good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation.
Experience using computer based maintenance management systems to input data and obtain reports would be preferred.
