Mechanical Engineer
County Pumps are looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Trainee to join their existing team.
We offer emergency breakdown response, servicing, maintenance and installation of new fuel pumps and tanks for refuelling of large vehicles, HGV’s and plant equipment across some of the largest Distribution, Transport, Bus Company, Local Authority and Emergency Services sites across the UK.
The role requires an enthusiastic person, with an aptitude for Mechanical Engineering, who would enjoy travelling and working outdoors. No specific qualifications are necessary, with full in house and manufacturer training given.
Do you have the following:
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Enthusiasm to learn
- Be capable and confident in your ability
- An aptitude for Mechanical Engineering
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Flexible to cope with changes to daily work schedules and routes in the UK
The normal working hours are 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, with the role involving some days requiring early starts and late finishes. There is a requirement for occasional overnight stays for longer distance sites and participation into a weekend ‘on-call’ rota, once experienced. A competitive basic starting salary is offered, with the opportunity to increase this significantly with overtime and commission.
