Mechanical Design Engineer - South Oxfordshire - Salary up to £45,000 + Benefits - Ref 1596

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in South Oxfordshire. Salary up too £45,000 + Benefits.

The organisation are leaders within their field and are developing innovative technology that is disrupting the industry that they operate within. They employ over 300 people and operate in over 40 major cities across the globe.

To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer typically you will be given an element of a live work package and will be required to assist on the CAD design and manage this with the assistance of your senior team members from concept to manufacture.

This will also include some exposure to the test, development and being in communication with the teams building prototypes. These work packages would typically come from ECR and ECN'S that are generated globally, giving you a broader exposure to the overall product portfolio.

Requirements:

• A Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar
• Knowledge of at least one industry standard CAD package
• FEA experience with ANSYS
