Engineer Your Future: Mechanical Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Awaits!

Embark on an exhilarating 42 month Mechanical Engineering Technician Apprenticeship that transcends the confines of traditional classrooms, immersing you in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. As an aspiring engineer, you'll dedicate an extraordinary 80% of your time to practical training in the workshop and onsite, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our seasoned engineers, gaining invaluable insights and honing your skills through real-world applications.

This exciting journey promises not just an education, but an adventure into the realms of Mechanical Engineering. As a Mechanical Engineering Technician apprentice, you'll acquire a versatile skill set, adeptly transitioning between working on our cherished old assets and applying innovative solutions to our new projects. Your apprenticeship will cover a broad spectrum of Mechanical Engineering techniques and practices, including but not limited to:

  • Maintenance and Reliability: Learn about the strategies and practices for maintaining mechanical systems, ensuring they are reliable, perform well, and have a long service life.
  • Engineering Materials: Dive into the study of materials used in engineering, understanding their properties, and how they affect the design and manufacturing of mechanical parts.
  • Project Management: Embrace the fundamentals of project management, learning how to plan, execute, and oversee projects effectively within the scope of Mechanical Engineering.

During your apprenticeship you will day release to college once a week during term time to gain your Level 3 qualification. Worry not though—full accommodation, travel reimbursement, and meal allowance will be provided if you find yourself away from home.

Upon successful qualification and completion of the apprenticeship, we guarantee you a secure role within our team! And you'll not only possess a deep understanding of engineering principles and practices but also the confidence and competence to tackle a variety of engineering challenges. This program is designed to catapult your career, preparing you for a future as a skilled engineer who can adapt to the ever-evolving demands of the industry.
