As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are looking for new mechanical design engineers to join our dynamic team.
The role:
Working as part of an agile team, you will deliver challenging engineering projects across our three core services of engineering consultancy, equipment design and build and testing services.
Duties will include:
- Completion of engineering consultancy studies, production of reports
- Concept development and design of mechanical equipment and systems
- Generation of associated drawings and specifications
- Oversight of equipment manufacture in the supply chain
- Development and delivery of bespoke test programmes
- Leading assembly and testing activities in the RED Technology Centre
- Installation and commissioning of equipment on clients, sites (both onshore and offshore)
Who we are looking for:
We are currently open to applications from all levels of engineer (including Engineers, Lead Engineers and Senior Engineers) with:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or above)
- A minimum of 1 years design experience in a relevant area experience of the offshore or nuclear industries an advantage
- Good planning, organisation and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing
- Strong ability to both self-lead and work effectively within a team
