Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of various mechanical systems. This role involves working with hydraulics, pneumatic air systems, and steam, therefore prior experience in these areas is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting scheduled maintenance tasks on mechanical systems
• Working with hydraulics, pneumatic air systems, and steam
• Experience with welding mig, stick, etc. and working on steam boiler systems
• Familiarity with pump systems including self-priming, centrifugal, positive displacement, and diaphragm
• Experience working with drives, gears, chain, and belt driven machinery
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar heavy engineering environment
• Proficiency in maintenance techniques and practices
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
• Overtime and weekend availability may be required

Supplemental Pay Types:

• Yearly bonus
