The successful candidate will have excellent track record of working in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
Main Duties:
- Analysing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.
- Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools
- Assembling components so they are ready for installation
- Reading and interpreting project plans
- Finding and fixing faults in pipework
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Carrying out planned maintenance checks
- Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
- You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- You should be able to safely use hand and power tools as well as demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- You Must have an industry recognised qualification / Appropriate certification.
- The ability to interpret blueprints for mechanical systems.
- You should be detail-oriented, focused, and adept at interpreting blueprints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
- Light welding and mechanical skills would be advantageous
