The role:

Mechanical Fitter/ Assemblers required to work for a specialist manufacturing business based in Aylesbury. You will be working with a wide range of assemblies and components to form specialist equipment used all over the world. You will carry out fitting / assembly work following engineering drawings working with a number of materials from aluminium, steel, wiring etc

We are looking for multi skilled fitters/ assemblers as You will be required to assist in the work carried out in different production areas when and where the need arises.

• Ability to work under your own initiative, but also to work as part of a team.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• A meticulous approach to fitting and assembly work, ensuring high standards of precision.
• Carrying out fitting and assembly work as directed by the Team Leader.
• Adhering to working instructions provided by engineers, project managers, and supervisors.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and protocols.
• Participating in quality control processes to maintain the highest standard of products.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects, offering valuable insights and ideas.
• Working diligently to maintain a high standard of manufacturing output.
• Must be able to work under your own initiative, but also to work as part of a team.
• Carry out production duties as directed by Production Supervision

A strong work ethic, positive attitude with good attention to detail and the ability to Solve problems, Work under pressure, Prioritise workload. All the above will be key to being successful and a long career within the business.
