GI Pro are proud to be working with a client based in Spalding, we are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.
The Role : Mechanical Fitter
- Ensure equipment is inspected, overhauled/serviced, and commissioned in line with good engineering practice and to the relevant standards
- The role will involve working both in our workshop and on customers' sites, identifying faults, carrying out repairs & removing and installation of equipment as required
- Striping down machines and rebuild replacing broken parts etc.
- Some basic electrical knowledge on wiring to ensure electrical parts are not damaged through mechanical fitting process
- Using hand and air tools
- Working from engineering drawings
Ideal Candidate : Mechanical Fitter
- Fitting experience mechanically
- Understanding of hydraulics more than pneumatic
- Experience working on motors and pumps
