Salary: £39,000-£40,000
Location: Rotherham
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am till 4pm, Friday 7.30am till 12.30pm

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
- Attending to breakdowns
- Planned preventative maintenance will be a daily task as one of the core values of the company
- Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
- Installation of new machinery as and when needed
- Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Working on a variation of machinery due to nature of business- injection moulding machines, grinders, heat treatment machines and furnaces.
- Working from drawings
- Welding
Desired experience:
- You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
- It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
- Ideally have 3 years experience within in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position recently
- Must have some electrical knowledge but no qualification is required
- Ideally have welding and fabrication experience
- Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
- Ideally experience with similar machinery mentioned above
- Must have the good work ethic, this company are looking for people who live to achieve
