Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location:Essex
Salary Range:£34,000 - £38,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of components to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and address urgent issues.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance activities and update maintenance records as required.
Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or certifications preferred.
