Role Description

• Day to day maintaining production machinery including breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements.
• Responsible for providing information and reports on the implementation of tasks to management
• Ensure all KPI's are achieved
• Involvement in new projects as well as continuous improvement of existing machinery including active participation and opinions on projects .
• Involvement , support and participation with the development of the business
• Working well within the engineering team to ensure maximum efficiency and support of the visions and strategies of the business
• Help develop best practice in line with SMED ideology and involvement with relevant training.
• Record, and maintain standard process setting data for use in database ensure all processes are standardized and maintained in accordance with the data.
• Have a full understanding of the company business operating systems and ensure adherence
• Ensure all health and safety polices are adhered to, notifying management of any risks or improvements.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the engineering manager

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in working in an FMCG Production environment
• HNC or Equivalent in mechanical engineering
• Knowledge and experience in Lean tools and manufacturing
• Time management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of health and safety
