Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Salary: £27,000-33,000p/h + overtime available + benefit
Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with expertise in pressure systems and gas knowledge?
Join our prestigious well-established client and play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance of our mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
- Pressure System Management: Utilize your knowledge of pressure systems to inspect, test, and maintain equipment in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Gas Technology Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in gas technologies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of systems (training provided)
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams to coordinate maintenance activities and continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to mechanical emergencies, demonstrating the ability to think on your feet and implement effective solutions (call-outs paid)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with a focus on pressure systems and gas technologies (desirable)
- In-depth knowledge of relevant safety codes and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex mechanical systems & preventative maintenance.
- Familiarity with gas detection systems, compressors, and related equipment (desirable).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Relevant certifications in pressure system maintenance and gas technologies are a plus (desirable).
