Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with ACS Gas qualifications looking for a permanent position based on luxury apartment block in the centre of Edinburgh.

This national Engineering Services company are looking to recruit an Engineer with ACS Domestic Gas qualification to cover planned and reactive maintenance to the buildings within this large site.

You will be responsible for all aspects of plumbing and heating on site, maintaining 48 domestic boilers as well as covering planned maintenance tasks (PPMs) to the building including statutory compliance testing to emergency lights, fire alarms, water temp checks.

Previous experience of working on a large site is advantageous however this role would also suit someone working mobile that is maybe looking for a role with less travelling day to day. You will not be provided a vehicle for this position due to being a static site however there is parking available on site.

Qualifications / Experience
ACS Domestic Gas tickets
Planned and Reactive Maintenance experience including Statutory Compliance such as Fire alarm, emergency lights, water temp testing.

ACS Commercial Gas tickets would be advantageous as they have 4 commercial plant rooms on site which works are currently subbed out.

Salary £40-42k based on a 38 hour week with an early finish on a Friday.

Good overtime rates including time & half and double time.

25 days holiday plus Bank holidays. (Option to buy/sell 5 days)
