Mechanical Technician Location : Hull, United Kingdom
This is a day role including 8 weekend days a year

We currently have an opportunity at our Hull site for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for both the planned and reactive maintenance of the site’s process plant and services, including preparation of equipment for third party inspection, pump overhauls, pipework installation and troubleshooting. The position will be on days, however a willingness to occasionally provide cover for a five-shift system is required.

Essentials: You will have served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship and achieved a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent You will have a good knowledge of Mechanical Maintenance Previous experience working in the process / chemical industry Good awareness / knowledge of health and safety on a manufacturing site
Desirables:
City & Guilds ONC
Lifting and slinging experience
Pipe fitting experience
This is a day role working 8 weekend days a year plus 35hours a week.
