Mechanical Steam Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced steam / boiler mechanical maintenance engineer to provide plant room maintenance to a prestigious portfolio in the Wirral area. The position will involve the upkeep of steam systems on the estate plus associated mechanical plant room. The role is a Permanent position, Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm (40 hours) plus extensive overtime. Salary up to 41.8k basic (plus overtime). On-call TBC
Job Specification: 
• Strong experience of planned & reactive maintenance works of a mechanical bias - alongside good general steam and M&E maintenance knowledge.
• Works Include: steam pressure links and pipework, plant and pipework, pumps and valves and commercial plumbing plus steam boilers
• Log Book Management & Reports
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities
• Daily communication with client
Maintenance of industrial plant room and pilot plants
• Strong leadership skills 
• Able to produce quotes
The Person:
• City & Guilds Qualified in steam or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a Steam and pressure systems 
• Hardworking, Career Driven 
• Ex-Forces Considered
