Mechanical Supervisor / Civil Supervisor

Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor for its nationwide sites.

The strategically important Site Manager role comes with a salary of up to �50,000, a pension, and KPI-driven bonuses.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Head of Site Management UK you will:

* Overseeing, manage, and orchestrate civil and mechanical construction activities conducted by subcontractors.
* Evaluating civil and mechanical installations for adherence to specifications, supplier manuals, and contractual obligations.
* Accountable for upholding top-tier Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards on-site, aligning with UK HSE and CDM regulations, as well as task-specific Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Ensuring prompt completion of site documentation utilizing MS Office software suite.
* Assessing work progress in line with Inspection & Test Plans.
* Collaborate with subcontractors to guarantee teams possess requisite training, tools, and equipment for task completion.
* Recognising and promptly escalating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) or potential risks impacting budget, schedule, or quality to Site or Project Management.
* Verifying material deliveries upon arrival at the site.

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* Civil or Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
* Experience with Renewable Energy technologies in the UK, preferably Solar PV and/or Battery Storage desirable.
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification a plus.
* First Aid trained a plus.
* Fluent in English.

Personal skills:
The Mechanical Supervisor role would suit someone who is:

* Flexible – the role will require supporting several sites, staying locally during the construction phase.
* Desire to work in an international Company.

Salary and benefits of the Mechanical Supervisor role:

* Salary from �30-40k DOE.
* Bonus 7.5% KPI driven.
