About Us
Habinteg’s mission is to champion inclusion by providing and promoting accessible homes and neighbourhoods that welcome and include everyone.
We have been a leading provider of affordable, accessible homes for over 50 years and now provide accessible homes and services to more than 3,200 Habinteg households.

About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Media and Communications Officer to tell (and sell in) the stories that place our work, and our campaigning, firmly on the news agenda.
We need someone who can write a great story and build the relationships needed to sell it to the media. If you love writing and can create copy that flies, read on.
You’ll be juggling projects, acting as a roving reporter, and bringing our social media to life.
You will be a natural content creator and curator for social media, and understand how to build engagement. Experience with social media management software would be great.
If you can also take strong photos that tell a story and shoot short film clips with your smartphone, we definitely want to hear from you.
What we’re offering
This is a chance to spread your wings and a chance to make a difference.
We’re a small team, and everyone gets listened to. Your ideas will influence the way we work from day one.
You’ll have a broad remit, including Media and social media. The stories you write and the engagement you build will make a real difference to the lives of disabled people.
As you develop in the role you will also gain opportunities to work on projects and other areas of IT work to develop your skills and experience.
