Are you a dynamic graduate with a genuine interest in how the media shapes perceptions? If so, look no further! We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Media Insights Executive to join our thriving research agency in Guildford, Surrey.
As a Media Insights Executive, you will play a crucial part in supporting our media content analysis team across diverse projects spanning various sectors. The position offers the unique opportunity to get involved with prestigious clients, such as industry leaders like Rolls-Royce, Moderna, and participants in the Britain’s Most Admired Companies study.
As you contribute to these projects, you will hone your project management skills and will be fully trained on our media analysis services. This encompasses social media monitoring, our acclaimed coding methodology, social media analytics, and the creation of insightful reports and client presentations.
Additionally, you will actively participate in Echo’s marketing efforts, involving tasks related to client databases and client events. Your role will also extend to providing valuable support for the team’s general administrative functions.

Hours of Work: Full time (37.5 hour week), hybrid working 50% in office: 50% at home
Salary: 20,000- 24,000 per annum depending on experience

Media Insights Executive Requirements:
- Based within commuting distance of Peasmarsh (Guildford), Surrey
- Graduate – 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in your degree subject
- A genuine interest in current affairs, the media and corporate reputation
- An understanding of media content analysis / social media analytics an advantage
- Experience in a research or analytics role in a commercial environment (agency or client-side) an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Numeric ability and an interest in analysing and exploring data
- Excellent written English with impeccable spelling and grammar
- Self-starter, quick-learner and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, happy working in a close team
- Computer literate (MS Office: Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint essential)
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
