Description

• Plan and implement strategic media campaigns.
• Engage with journalists and manage press inquiries.
• Create, edit, and distribute media materials including press releases and statements.
• Monitor and report on media coverage related to the company.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align media campaigns with marketing strategies.
• Ensure all media activities adhere to industry regulations and company standards.
• Manage crisis communications when necessary.
• Contribute to the development of the company's public image and brand reputation.

Profile

A successful Media Officer should have:

• A degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a media-related role within the public sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A solid understanding of the UK media landscape.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage crisis communications effectively.
• Knowledge of the pensions industry is beneficial.
