Form of workRed Recruitment is recruiting a Medical Case Manager based in Esher to join a leading provider of global medical assistance and healthcare solutions. The successful candidate will hold a current NMC Pin and have been working at band 5 or above for 3 years. The salary for this position is up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and also contains many benefits.

- Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: 4 days per week (Monday - Sunday), 8am to 6pm or 12pm to 10pm

Key Responsibilities of a Medical Case Manager:
- Demonstrating knowledge, skill and competency in the assessment and management of individual cases
- Uploading all new cases onto the CMS and formulate a plan of management
- Monitoring on-going cases according to: medical need, local facilities, age of patient and re-assesses at appropriate intervals
- Liaising with the medical team, and assisting with, obtaining medical reports where possible, providing translation services if necessary
- Acting promptly when critical issues are identified, ensuring such cases are escalated to the duty Operations Manager as appropriate
Key Skills and Experience of a Medical Case Manager:
- You must either be a registered RN, RMN, or allied health professionals with an active HCPC registration or hold an NMC Pin and have worked at band 5 or above for 3 years
- Broad range of acute clinical experience
- Ability to deal calmly and professionally face-to-face or remotely with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to use clinical and commercial skills to carefully balance member experience, treatment eligibility, and cost-effectiveness
- A resilient manner and excellent communication skills
