Accounts Assistant

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Assistant to join a growing company in Southampton on a full time, permanent basis

Job Type: Hybrid

Duties:

• Purchase invoice processing and making supplier payment
• Supplier and statement reconciliations
• Daily bank reconciliations and cash book journal
• Petty cash management
• Commission calculations and payments
• Reconciliation of daily cash sweep calculations
• Assistance with the preparation of month end schedules, such as prepayments and accruals
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills

• AAT-qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent
• Some previous experience in a finance team
• Self-disciplined and organised
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confident user of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Be able to prioritise tasks effectively and work well under pressure;
