Medical Receptionist

We are looking to recruit a Medical Receptionist for a local GP surgery between Watford and Slough, SL9 postcode, the role is ideally full time, however they could consider part time hours hours across the week, working pattern will require some flexibility, as on the days of work you'd be needed from 8:15-5:30 (and you could work overtime til 6:15pm). This position is to cover increased demand rather than replacement for old staff.

You'll be working with a small team of administrators and secretaries to help and support the clinicians and management team at the Practice. You will need to be 'switched on', attentive and have initiative for the role, as well as demonstrating professionalism and high standards of accuracy at all times.

The surgery uses EMIS web as it's main IT system however they are happy to train on this if required. It is essential for the successful applicant to have GP reception or admin experience. You will need to show willingness to learn, good verbal communication skills and resilience alongside your prior experience. The team is sociable and very welcoming, they're a really well established team with low staff turnover so you'll be joining a wealth of experience.

The surgery is a fast paced environment with around 13,000 patients across it's two sites, which you will have to work across, they're about 10 minutes apart by car. The surgery boasts excellent transport links with a bus stops right outside the site and free parking on site for staff! They have plenty of local amenities.

The package for this role is competitive with part time hours, a salary of between £11.00-£11.50 per hour depending on experience. You'll also receive 4 weeks of annual leave with bank holidays off and NHS pension contributions.
