Medical Receptionist

Craiglockhart Medical Group is a 7 GP training practice in South-West Edinburgh based in the modern, purpose built, Allermuir Health Centre.

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.

This post is permanent and the role holder will play a critical part in ensuring our patients are provided with excellent care. It includes managing our busy reception area; dealing with patient requests and queries; helping ensure prescriptions are available when needed and ensuring patient results are managed well.

Whilst some work within a medical setting would be helpful, it's not necessary provided you can bring the right skills. You will need good people skills, be organised and hard working and work really well as part of a team.

• Hours are 22.5-37 hours per week within the practice opening hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm between Monday and Friday
• Starting Salary – £12, increasing to £12.25 after successful completion of 6 month probationary period.
