Pay Rate: Up to £60P/H

Are you a seasoned Medical Scientist with a wealth of experience within HIV?

I am recruiting for a Medical Scientist with hands on experience working with patients with HIV . The client of ours is expanding their manufacturing and laboratory department, they are seeking a Medical Scientist to work Field Based across the UK reporting to the main office in Holborn.

Medical Scientist - Key Responsibilities:

• Identifies and develops regional and national opinion leaders to support products and trains approved speakers through personal contacts and on-site visits
• Establishes strong relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators and healthcare professionals in academic and non- academic settings
• Supports sales force with training at national and regional levels
• Selects sites for both Phase IV and other clinical trials
• Anticipates complex obstacles and difficulties that may arise in the field and resolves them in a collaborative manner
• Travels to appointments, meetings and conferences on a frequent and regular basis, occasionally with short notice

Medical Scientist - Qualifications & Requirements:

• Advanced degree (e.g. Medical doctor, PharmD, PhD,) required or may have a degree in pharmacy/nursing/life sciences with varying levels of clinical and/or industry experience
• Clinical practice experience and NHS landscape awareness within a relevant therapeutic area of interest are desirable
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable
• Well-developed experience in preparing and delivering presentations is required
• Experience in the management or investigation of clinical trials is desired
• Clinical patient contact experience is highly desirable
