Position: Medical Scientist (HIV)

Location: UK - London (Hybrid Field-based role)

Industry: Pharmaceutical

Contract Duration: 12 months (Possible 18 month extension)

Join a dynamic team in the therapy and clinical trials industry! We're looking for a Medical Scientist HIV to join our field-based team in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to clinical inquiries regarding products
• Develop and present complex scientific and clinical data for products
• Identify and develop regional and national opinion leaders
• Establish strong relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and health care professionals
• Support sales force with training at national and regional levels
• Work on Phase IV programme and select sites for clinical trials
• Anticipate and resolve complex obstacles in the field
• Collaborate with personnel in various departments
• Deliver impactful presentations in different settings
• Travel frequently to appointments, meetings, and conferences

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (e.g., Medical doctor, PharmD, PhD) or degree in pharmacy/nursing/life sciences with clinical and/or industry experience
• Clinical practice experience and NHS landscape awareness desirable
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Experience in preparing and delivering presentations required
• Experience in clinical trials management or investigation desired
• Clinical patient contact experience highly desirable

Additional Information:

• Inside IR35 contract
• UK-based, field-based role with travel across UK and Ireland (specific geography to be determined)
• Ideal home locations for candidates include South and South West England, South Wales
• Maximum pay rate £60 per hour
