Medical Secretary

Permanent Medical Secretary based in Wolverhampton. Search are recruiting for a permanent medical Secretary for a private Hospital based in Wolverhampton area with prior hospital experience. Responsibilities: To provide secretarial support to the Responsible Clinician to include typing reports, letters and general administrative duties as required. To provide administrative support, including room bookings, sending of agendas and minute taking for the MDT during ward rounds, CPAs, care reviews and other clinical meetings. To make appointments and bookings as required. To enter all necessary data in the Hospitals EPR system. To maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or digital information is easily available and secure. To communicate with many disciplines both internally and externally of the Hospital on behalf of the Responsible Clinician and the MDT. To assist with the gathering of statistics and information as required. To assist in covering reception during any periods of Annual Leave or sickness.
